First Project -

for my November Club. Thank you Andrea (http:/scissors-cut-paper.blogspot) for the inspiration. I used Top Note bigz die for the big shot; small, largest oval, 1/4" circle and word punches; sand, handsome hunter, whisper white and pumpkin pie cardstock; pumpkin pie classic ink and printed the saying off from the computer. I distressed the middle of the pumpkin to give it some dimension. When we do this in the club, we will use peanuts that need shelling in a cello bag. This was so much fun. Love spending my lunch at work this way! For the other two projects I'm thinking of doing a Christmas card and a paper tree. There are so many things I want to do, I just can't decide. Will post them when they are finished. Will be typing at you soon. (anyone recognize my little black bear?)

Finally - I'm Back

Whoa - it's been a long couple of weeks! I've had that awful stuff that's been going around for the last week and am finally feeling better. Plus I actually have my camera, flash drive and items to take pictures of in the same place! So here is what I did before I got sick.

I love glass ornaments! Instead of using acetate, I used whisper white cardstock. The one on top uses handsome hunter classic ink and the curly label punch bundle. I thru in some snow and hung the Merry Christmas with silver elastic cording. I will be dying some of the whisper white taffeta ribbon handsome hunter to finish it off.

The one underneath uses red riding hood red classic ink, square scallop punch, punches three hostess stamp set and red riding hood taffeta ribbon.

On both of them, I had to go in with a pencil and uncurl the images after they were placed in the ornament, but was able to do it without leaving any creases. And there is an image front and back with the cording glued in between. The next ones I am going to cut off the prongs and just glue the tops on.

The whisper white cardstock was easy to put into the ornament, even doubled.

Gotta add one more picture. This is my 19 year old going on 7 in his halloween costume.
Can I still say he's so cccuuuttteee or is he too old for that - Never!!
